STEP 1: Place your diffuser on a flat stable surface. Fill to 2/3 full. Do not overfill.

STEP 2: Place the wick into the diffuser. (When using for the first time let the wick soak for
20 minutes.) Light the stone. Let the flame burn for 2 minutes. Never leave flame unattended.
Blow out the flame

STEP 3: Place the vented cover on your diffuser. Your diffuser is now dispersing fragrance.

STEP 4: To extinguish the diffuser, remove the vented cover and replace the solid cap over the stone.
Warning: Vented cover will be hot! Always use the enclosed hot pad to avoid injury.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I change out one fragrance for another?

1. Make sure the stone has completely cooled before touching.
2. Remove the stone and wick assembly and place on a paper towel. Remove excess oil from the wick using the towel. Allow to dry.
3. Using the funnel provided, carefully pour the leftover fragrance back into the original bottle or pour down the drain with the water running. Caution: Oil can ruin wood or finished surfaces, pour carefully!
4. Using funnel provided, pour in your new desired fragrance to 1/2 to 2/3 full. Let the wick soak for 20 minutes. Then follow steps 3-4 under the Instructions.

My fragrance oil is too strong…how can I make it softer?

Sometimes a particular fragrance may be too strong for a small room, or perhaps you prefer your fragrances to be lighter in strength. If this is the case, use our Aroma Décor fragrance oil “Purifier” to help tone it down. Using the funnel provided, add a little of the “Purifier” oil to the fragrance oil you want to tone down. You can add as much or as little as you want. The more you add, the softer the fragrance will become. The “Purifier” oil can also be used by itself to cleanse and purify the air without fragrance.

What if my stone puts itself out?

1. Place the solid cap over the stone and wait 5 minutes. Then try lighting the stone again. If this does not work, using the funnel provided, carefully pour fragrance oil back into the original bottle.
2. Fill the diffuser 1/2-2/3 full with “Purifier” oil and let soak for 20 minutes. (The “Purifier” oil can be used to help clean the stone.) Try lighting the stone again. If it lights, allow it to burn for 2 minutes and blow out the flame. After 10 minutes place the solid cap over the stone and allow to cool. Follow steps 1-4 under “How do I change out one fragrance for another”.
3. If steps 1 and 2 do not work it is time to purchase a new stone at your local Aroma Décor retailer.

How do I know if I need a new stone?

1. If you have used your stone for over 1 year or 250 uses.
2. If your stone continues to put itself out.
